Local knowledge
We know these houses.
Much of Union and Middlesex County was built between the 1920s and 1960s, so we see a lot of 60 and 100-amp services, Federal Pacific and Zinsco panels, ungrounded two-prong outlets, and the occasional live knob-and-tube run in an attic. Basements along the Rahway River corridor took on water in Ida, and many still have panels and outlets that deserve a look. Newer homes in Monmouth County bring EV chargers, generators and finished-basement work.
